Today we are going to speak about job search. At our previous lesson we spoke about the ways of writing a good CV, we read some adverts from the newspapers and magazines given in our exercise-books and discussed some texts about different jobs and personal qualities each job requires. Today I suggest we should try to make a summary of the material on the problem and discuss a job interview. We’ll try to make you aware of possible mistakes at a job interview; to encourage you to think in advance about future job interview; to provide you with some help on how to succeed in it. I am sure it will help you in your future career. ІІ. Речевая разминка. It’s time for you to choose you future profession and you should know a lot about job search. You know many words on the topic, let’s revise them. (Слайд 2-3 ) Let’s remember skills and qualities that will help you make a great career.(Слайд4 ) What qualities are negative and can’t help in finding job. ІІІ. Развитие навыков чтения. Работа с текстом. Ex. 1, p. 217- Daniel is getting ready for a job search. Read the article he found and put the words in brackets into the right form. Answer the questions of ex. 2, p. 217. ІѴ. Развитие навыков говорения, аудирования. 1) It is very important to realise what your priorities are and talk about then openly. What’s important to you in a job. Choose your top three priorities and comment on them. 2) You know that interview is very important and answers in a job interview should be polite and positive. So the next task for you is to make these answers to questions in a job interview sound more positive.(Cлайд 6-7) Listen to the speakers and compare your answers with theirs. Ѵ. Развитие навыков диалогической речи. Work in Paris. Student A is an interview and student B is an interviewer. Read your role in role cards and prepare for an interview. (Ex.7,p.220) You should use your CV that you wrote at home. A- bring a relevant CV and answer the questions. B- look through the candidate’s CV and ask him or her questions. ѴІІІ.
