Просмотр фильма (watching the film). Работа в группах (group work). 3. Подведение итогов (results). Оборудование: фильм «Чудеса священные и загадочные», раздаточный материал. Ход урока

Работа над текстом: а).дотекстовая работа: - фонетическая отработка лексики по теме; б) текстовая работа: - прочитайте текст и закончите предложения (см. задание к тексту) -ответьте на вопросы: 1.where does this story begin? 2.who built Stonehendge? 3.who were Druids? 4.what is Stonehenge for Druids? 5. how did people who build Stonehendge spend the time? 6.what tools did people use to build Stonehendge? 7.what are Trilithons? - Просмотр фильма. Сейчас мы посмотрим фильм «Чудеса священные и загадочные» после просмотра заполните пропуски в тексте соответствующими рисунками. в) послетекстовая работа: - работа в группах. Обучающиеся делятся на 3 группы и каждая группа получает задания: 1группа - расскажите о Друидах; 2 группа – расскажите о строительстве Стоунхенджа; 3 группа – расскажите о трилитах. There are a lot of hills there. Many ancient kings were buried there. Such hills can be found everywhere in England. Here you can see ancient monuments. The most famous is Stonehenge. There are a lot of myths and legends about it. People thought that it was built by a magician Merlin. Some scientists thought that it was a cathedral of Druids. Druids were people who lived there in the 4 – 5th century before Christ. They were very powerful. Nowadays Druids think that Stonehenge is an important place too. Druids spent a lot of time outdoors. They feel themselves like land, nature, sky, stars or the sun. They come here to thank God. They thank the Sun saying “ Good morning the Sun. Welcome to our place.” The people who built Stonehenge were primitive. They spent all day from sunrise to sunset hunting, fishing and growing crops. Thousand of men and women took part in building of Stonehenge. Stonehenge was a beautiful project of stone and bronze century. People used the most primitive tools: sticks, ropes made of wool of animals and stones. These stones were named Trilithons. Trilithons are 2 vertical stones and a stone above. 5 Trilithons made a horseshoe. Outside the Trilithons there were small stones. They look like a ring. So, let’s try to guess what Stonehenge is? May be it is a large calendar? Or a thing to measure the time of gathering the сrops? The time to predict solar and moon eclipse? It is difficult to say…
