Сабирьянов Юра: Poem Red, Red Rose A Red, Red Rose Robert Burns
O, my luve's like a red, red rose, That's newly sprung in June; O, my luve's like the melodie That's sweetly play'd in tune. As fair art thou, my bonnie lass. So deep in luve am I; And I will luve thee still, my dear, Till a' the seas gang dry - Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear, And the rocks melt wi' the sun; I will luve thee still, my dear, While the sands of life shall run. And fare thee weel, my only luve! And fare thee weel a while! And I will come again, my luve, Tho' it were ten thousand mile. Песня в исполнении учащихся 11А: Clementine
In a cavern in a canyon
Excavating for a mine
Lived a miner forty-niner
And his daughter Clementine
Chorus
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine,
You were lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine, Light she was and like a feather
And her shoes were number nine
Herring boxes without topses
Sandals were for Clementine
Chorus
Drove she ducklings to the water
Every morning just at nine
Hit her foot against a splinter
Fell into the foaming brine
Chorus
Ruby lips above the water
Blowing bubbles soft and fine
But alas I was no swimmer
So I lost my Clementine
Chorus Песня в исполнении учащихся 11Б: Yankee Doodle
Father and I went down to camp
Along with Captain Doodling;
There we saw the men and boys
As thick as hasty pudding.
Chorus:
Yankee Doodle, keep it up
, Yankee Doodle dandy!
There was Captain Washington
Upon a slapping stallion,
Giving orders to his men —
I guess there was a million.
Chorus
Mind the music and the step
And with the girls be handy!
Here we saw a thousand men
As rich as Squire David;
What they wasted every day,
I wish it could be saved.
Chorus
Then the feathers on his hat,
They looked so very fine, oh!
I wanted desperately to get
To give to my Jemima.
Chorus
Драматизация стихотворения (Каюмова Камила, Воронов Сергей, Егерева Настя) (начало фильма) Слова Егеревой Насти: Do you know the fact that was a project. In the research work the folk tale “Red Riding Hood and the Wolf” in the interpretation by the Grimms brothers in German, Charles Perrault and Roald Dahl in the English language is analyzed and performed. It became the best project of Longman Festival 2008 and won the 3 place in Moscow. Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf from Revolting Rhymes, by Roald Dahl, 1982
As soon as Wolf began to feel That he would like a decent meal, He went and knocked on Grandma's door. When Grandma opened it, she saw The sharp white teeth, the horrid grin, And Wolfie said, "May I come in?" Poor Grandmamma was terrified, "He's going to eat me up!" she cried. And she was absolutely right. He ate her up in one big bite.
But Grandmamma was small and tough, And Wolfie wailed, "That's not enough! I haven't yet begun to feel That I have had a decent meal!" He ran around the kitchen yelping, "I've got to have a second helping!"
Then added with a frightful leer, "I'm therefore going to wait right here Till Little Miss Red Riding Hood Comes home from walking in the wood."
He quickly put on Grandma's clothes, (Of course he hadn't eaten those). He dressed himself in coat and hat. He put on shoes, and after that, He even brushed and curled his hair, Then sat himself in Grandma's chair.
In came the little girl in red. She stopped. She stared. And then she said, "What great big ears you have, Grandma. All the better to hear you with," the Wolf replied. "What great big eyes you have, Grandma." said Little Red Riding Hood. "All the better to see you with," the Wolf replied.
He sat there watching her and smiled. He thought, I'm going to eat this child. Compared with her old Grandmamma, She's going to taste like caviar.
Then Little Red Riding Hood said, " But Grandma, what a lovely great big furry coat you have on."
"That's wrong!" cried Wolf. "Have you forgot To tell me what BIG TEETH I've got? Ah well, no matter what you say, I'm going to eat you anyway."
The small girl smiles. One eyelid flickers. She whips a pistol from her knickers. She aims it at the creature's head, And bang bang bang, she shoots him dead.
A few weeks later, in the wood, I came across Miss Riding Hood. But what a change! No cloak of red, No silly hood upon her head. She said, "Hello, and do please note My lovely furry wolfskin coat."
Ведущий 2: We have read a lot of books in the original. Слова Ирины Петрушиной: I would like to tell you about the book “The Secret Garden” written by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It is a book about a girl that has lost her parents and lived in uncle’s house which had a lot of gardens around it. There he met two boys. They became good friends. They played in the secret garden all days long. The book teaches us a real friendship. It showed me what the real friends should be like. Friends always support us, they help us in different situations. This story made a great impression on me. I advise everyone to read this book.
Слова Ирины Анисимовой: I have read the book «Jane Eyre». The author is Charlotte Bronte. It is a lyric book. The main character, Jane Eyre, is close to Charlotte Bronte in behavior. The author is worried about her character. But Jane bears all troubles and receives her happiness. This book made a great impression on me. In this book we can know about love, loneliness and treachery. Jane Eyre teaches us to be tolerant. Слова Барановой Саши: I’m going to tell you about one of my favorite books “Sense and Sensibility”. It was written by the great novelist Jane Austen. This is the love story about two sisters who found their love and in spite of difficults became happy. The main characters Marianne and Elinor were very different. Elinor was calm and reasonable when Marianne was a sensible and romantic woman. Elinors` story begins with the simple friendship, misunderstanding in love and sufferings, but without any doubt, there was a happy end. Reading this novel I got a great pleasure. This book makes us think about some questions. It is better to express strong feelings, eagerly and passionately, to the whole world? Is it wise? I advise you to read this novel and find your own answers on these questions.
Ведущий 1: We celebrated different British holidays and played funny games. Слова Лысенкова Ивана: Let’s play a game Guy Fawkes’ Hand The rules are: You are blindfolded. On the wall there is a picture of Guy without a hand. Your task is to stick the hand to the body. The player who manages to stick the hand in its right place wins. You are welcome. (Игра с залом) Ведущий 2: Now we have the electronic Language Portfolio. Слова Каюмовой Камилы:
I would like to tell you about my project work “Disabled People in Modern Society”. The aim of the project was to find out the ways of solving problems of disabled people. Every year our pupils take part in the contest «If I were a head of board». They touch upon problems of disabled people and pensioners of the district. For example, Soboleva Ekaterina won this completion with the project work “Social protection of disabled people. Project «Chance»”. This project was supported by a group of our pupils and they help their friends and relatives to work with this people. Disabled children study in our Gymnasium. But we have never called them disabled people. All of them take part in the school life. We are proud of our school livers. They are Zinger Evgeniy, who has problems with joints, Kulikov Vitaliy, who hasn’t got an arm. Now they are students of prestigious universities of Moscow. These are their little but already great victories. My research work won the 2nd prize in the game “Model UNO” and was nominated for actuality at the contest “Griboedov’s Readings”
Слова Морковниковой Насти: I would like to tell you about my research work «The war with Napoleon», which took place in 1812. For my work I searched information in Internet historical sites, encyclopedia sources. I decided to do this project because I am interested in Russian history of 19 century.
The most famous battle of the war was Borodinskaya Battle. It happened in September 1812 not far from Moscow, near small village Borodino. In the battle such Russian heroes as Bagration, Kutuzov, Raevskiy and Davidov participated. The battle was lost by Russian army, but soon after that the situation changed. I think, you’ll agree with me such projects are useful.
Слова Швабауэр Насти : The aim of my work was to touch the problems of children’s lives during the Second World War. This project was done for our English lessons and presented in my portfolio. My classmates were impressed by it. In fact I sent my project to iEARN International Web Organization to Gal Kleinman who was the leader of “Magical Movement Around The World”. So he highly appreciated this work. Слова Силакова Павла: As for me, the most important part of my school portfolio is my English project called ‘My Gymnasium’. I worked with it in the 8th Form. Sudarenko Marina Nikolaevna and Aksenova Elena Sergeeevna did their best to help me to do this project properly. The project was devoted to the school life, history of Gymnasium. I gave a wide coverage of different aspects of education in our Gymnasium, its structure (the pedagogical staff, studies and labs). I focused on school uniform. I asked the pupils of our Gymnasium if education in Russia is better than in Great Britain and if they like to study in our Gymnasium. Most of them prefer education in Russia and are fond of study in our Gymnasium My project work was rewarded by diploma at the young talents of Moscow contest in IT and became the part of our school project and was put on official web site of Gymnasium. Слова Губиной Даши:
I worked out a research project about interesting places in Moscow, which are connected with Great Britain. This work was presented in letters to Mrs. O’Brien, the English teacher who worked at our school a few years ago. My project was successful. I took part in several contests such as The Young Talents of Moscow, the Linguistic contest “Lingua” and the contest “I’m walking around Moscow”. My work was published in the portfolio of the magazine “The First of September”.
Песня в исполнении учащихся 11А: Can't buy me love, love,
Can't buy me love. I'll buy you a diamond ring my friend,
If it makes you feel alright,
I'll get you anything my friend,
If it makes you feel alright,
'Cos I don't care too much for money,
Money can't buy me love. I'll give you all I've got to give,
If you say you love me too,
I may not have a lot to give,
But what I've got I'll give to you,
I don't care too much for money,
Money can't buy me love. Can't buy me love, everybody tells me so,
Can't buy me love, no, no, no, no. Say you don't need no diamond rings,
And I'll be satisfied,
Tell me that you want the kind of things,
That money just can't buy,
I don't care too much for money,
Money can't buy me love. Can't buy me love, everybody tells me so,
Can't buy me love, no, no, no, no. Say you don't need no diamond rings,
And I'll be satisfied,
Tell me that you want the kind of things,
That money just can't buy,
I don't care too much for money,
Money can't buy me love.
Can't buy me love, love,
Can't buy me love, no, no, no, no. Песня в исполнении учащихся 11Б: Yesterday
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it look as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh, yesterday came suddenly
Chorus:
Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday Ведущий 2:
