Урок по страноведению – английский язык в 3 б классе. Учитель: Местникова И.И. Класс: 3б- Борисова Л.И. Предмет: страноведение (1 час) Тема: Повторение пройденных тем по страноведению: «Столицы англо-говорящих стран», «Англо-говорящие страны», «Достопримечательности Лондона», «Символы России, Якутии, Великобритании». Оснащение урока: персональный компьютер учителя, проектор, экран. Цель урока: Расширение кругозора учащихся о странах изучаемого языка и сопоставления со страной проживания. Интеграция культур и ценностей этих стран. Повышение мотивации учащихся. Задачи: - Повторение пройденного материала; - повторение пройденной лексики, тренировка и закрепление ее и употребление в речевой деятельности. План урока: Ход урока:
Приветствие. Установка, обозначение цели и задач урока. T: - Good morning, children! Ps – Good morning, Irina Ivanovna! T – How are you today? Ps – I am fine. Thank you. And how are you? T – I am fine too. Thank you. Sit down. Today children we have a special day. We have an open lesson. And our tasks are to show our guests how much we know. We shall tell about English speaking countries, work with maps, symbols, and other interesting things. So I wish you good luck and I wish good luck to myself.
T – Now children look at the screen and repeat after me – Russia, Great Britain… etc.
T – Thank you, children. OK. And now children let’s play a game. We have 2 teams. I give you 1 minute to give a name to your teams and choose a captain. T – OK. Time is up. What is the name of your team? Who is the captain? Ps –… T – And you? What is the name of your team? Who is the captain? Ps – …
T – The 1st task for you will be to show 5 English speaking countries. Captains from every team are to come up and show us the countries. And then 2 pupils from every team will do it. First team “Storm” and then team “Lightning”. Thank you. Ps - (Do that). T – The 3d task will be easy I shall show you pictures of the capitals and the quickest pupil must give the right answer. Don’t cry out, just hands up. Ps – (Do that). T – Well done. It is very good.
The 4th task will be to name the sights of London by chain. First team “Lightning – 5 pictures. Then team “Storm” - your 5 pictures. Ps – ( Do that). T – Well done. How nice of you. Thank you.

T – Very good. Let’s write now a short dictation. Please 2 pupils from every team. Come up to the blackboard. The rest of the class put down the words and don’t look at the blackboard.
