Урок по теме “Reading Habits” по учебнику Кузовлева В.П. 9 класс Тема:Reading Habits. Project “ The Book I’ve Made “ Практические задачи: развитие навыков говорения- практиковать учащихся в монологической речи по теме «Чтение», учить вести беседу по теме ; развитие навыков письменной речи ; развитие навыков аудирования –практиковать в ауди- ровании с общим охватом содержания ; развитие грамматических навыков - тренировать уча- щихся в употреблении Past Simple Passive и Past Simple Active. Воспитательные задачи :прививать любовь к чтению книг , ознакомить уча- щихся с здоровье-сберегающими технологиями. Развивающие: развивать речевые способности, творческое мышление, само- стоятельность, память, воображение, фантазию. Образовательные: формировать у учащихся представление о менталитете и культуре британской нации. Языковой материал: лексический и грамматический материал по теме цикла. Оснащение: учебник, ТСО, картинки, раздаточный материал, грамматические таблицы. Ход урока. 1.Начало урока. Организационный момент. Приветствие. Введение в тему урока. Задачи урока. T: Yesterday I finished reading a very interesting book. It is “The Painted Veil “ by W. Somerset Maugham. The book is really brilliant. I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. As for me I enjoy reading. And what about you? Most teenagers have different opinions on reading. Some of them think that reading is less important nowadays because there are TV, video, and computers. Others think that they can’t do without books. It’s very interesting to know what’s your opinion. So, our topic is “Reading Habits”. We’ll discuss such questions as Is reading important? What sort of books do you like to read? What sort of books do you avoid reading? What is your favourite book? What book would you recommend to read? What types of books do the members of your family like to read? Besides, you’ll have an opportunity to make your own book. Would you like to try to make your own book? 2.Фонетическая зарядка. P1: Reading to the mind what exercise is to the body. T: Do you agree to this quotation? Is reading important? Why? P1: I quite agree. Books help to educate, to expand outlook. P2: I agree with you, books can tell us a lot about interesting things and the rest of the world. P3: I don’t agree with you. Reading is not important because it’s easier to watch TV or video. P4: I’m of the same opinion. Besides it hurts eyes. T: I agree with you. Sometimes we shouldn’t read because reading can hurt our Нyes. When shouldn’t we read? P: We shouldn’t read if we go by bus or by car, if we are in bed and if is not light enough in the room. T: That’s right. Some people think that reading is boring. Do you agree? P7:I don’t agree. You’ll never feel bored if you read interesting and exciting books. T: By the way, what sort of books do you like to read? What is your favourite book? . P1: I like to read adventure stories. P2: My mother enjoys reading novels. It is the best way to relax. P3:…………… 7.Работа над проектом. 1.Подготовительный этап. T: First of all, you should divide into two teams. I know how to do it. Please take these cards with the words. Your task is to make up two sentences, two proverbs using these words. What is the first proverb? P1: Choose a book as you choose a friend. T: What is the second proverb? P2: Wear the old coat and buy a new book. T: What do these proverbs mean? P3: Reading is important. T: So, we have two proverbs and two teams. Wouldn’t you mind to work in these groups. Cl: No, we wouldn’t. T: OK. Firstly, discuss who will be a painter, a designer, a writer and so on. Secondly, make up a story on the pictures.
