Teacher: And now we begin with repeating our sounds. Please, repeat after me: [ai] – like, pike, Mike; [i] – tree, tea, sweet; [эu] – rose, nose, toes; [oi] – boy, toy, noise. Ok, very good! Now let’s refresh our poems. Look at the blackboard and repeat after me: I like coffee, I like tea, I like apples on the tree. Roses are red, Violets are blue, Honey is sweet And so are you. Teacher: Try to reproduce the poem, please. Teacher: Nice! Perfect! Now let’s learn a new poem. Look at the blackboard, listen to me and try to translate: A little boy Has no toy, He makes much noise, He wants some toys. Teacher: Well done! Now read line by line.
Teacher: Dear pupils, today we have one more guest. His name is Peter, he is from Britain. Peter is very funny and friendly. And this is Peter’s house. It’s big and very nice. Please, name the rooms in his house. Use the constructions «There is…» or «There are…», rise your hands: Pupil: This is a garden. Pupil: This is a living room. Pupil: This is a kitchen. Pupil: This is a bedroom. Pupil: This is a bathroom.
Teacher: What about your homework? Are there any questions? Open your books and let’s check it. Begin reaging…
Teacher: Boys and girls, I want to introduce someone to you. Look! It’s Lucy. She is eight. She has her own room. Let’s help her to set the things in it. First of all, tell me what has she got? Pupil: She has got a bed. Pupil: She has got a table. Pupil: She has got a sofa. Pupil: She has got an armchair. Pupil: She has got a TV. Pupil: She has got a cupboard. Pupil: She has got a chair. Pupil: She has got a mirror. Pupil: She has got a lamp. Teacher: Thank you. Now Vitalik, come out to the blackboard, take the bed (the cupboard, the chair, the sofa…) and put it into Lucy’s room. Comment your actions, please. Pupil: I take the bed (the cupboard, the chair, the sofa…) and put it here…
Teacher: Are you tired? Let’s have a rest, stand up. Sing the song and follow me: Head and shoulders, Knees and toes, Knees and toes. Head and shoulders, Knees and toes, Knees and toes. And eyes and ears And mouth and nose, Head and shoulders, Knees and toes.
Teacher: My dears, this is my friend Teddy Bear. He is very curious and wants to know English. Let’s teach him the rules we’d studied. Например, a dog – dogs, a frog – frogs, a table – tables. Teacher: You’re right! Thank you. Pupil: A child – children, a man – men, a woman – women, a foot – feet, A tooth – teeth, a mouse – mice. Teacher: How clever you are! Pupil: A fish – fish, a sheep – sheep, a deer – deer. Teacher: Well done! Teacher: Thank you! You are so clever! Now let’s have a little bit of practice. Come out to the blackboard and make the plural forms of these words (a mouse, a tree, a bus, a boy, a tooth, a dish…) Teacher: Ребята, давайте вспомним конструкции «There is a …» Pupil: «There is a …» Teacher: You are absolutely right! Now let’s play! We have two trains, one of them is «There is a…» and the other is «There are …». Let’s set the «sentence-carriages» to the trains. Read the sentences, choose the right train and set the «carriage» to it.
Teacher: Thank you, boys and girls. You’ve worked very hard today! I like it! Everything was super! All of you get excellent marks. Thank you for the lesson. Good-bye. Have a nice day! |
