Урок в 10 классе «Королева детектива» Задачи: Образовательная - ознакомление с жизнью и творчеством Агаты Кристи. Воспитательная - воспитание у учащихся любви к чтению и книгам. Развивающая – развитие внимания, мышления, памяти. Практическая – развитие навыков говорения, чтения, выработка навыков литературного перевода. Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор и презентации, рабочие карточки (worldlist and «Are you a good reader?”), реквизит для сценок. Xод урока. Приветствие и вступительное слово учителя. Good morning, children. Sit down, please. I`m glad to see you. It`s time to begin our lesson. The main topic today is “The Queen of Crime” and you know that we`ll read and speak about one of the greatest detective writers of all times – about Agatha Christie. (S 1) We`ll see if you like to read and what you like to read. We`ll read a passage from one of Agatha Christie`s books and see whose translation is the best. At the lesson we`ll work with the material from the magazine “Speak Out”. Try to prove that you are clever, brave, creative and logical creatures Работа с текстом . Let`s read the text “The Queen of Crime”. Be very attentive, on reading it you should do some exercises. The Worldlist will help you to understand the text better. Your homework was to read and translate the passage from Agatha Christie`s story “The adventure of the Egyptian tomb”. Let us see how you managed to do it. We`l l do it in the following way. At first I`ll read the sentence in English. Then you`ll read the translation made by a computer and correct it`s mistakes. I think there are too many mistakes in the translation. (S 8) And now listen to the translation made by a professional translator…… Do you like this translation? And I think your translations were also rather good, much better than translations made by a computer. Children, and what are the typical mistakes made by a computer? Pay attention to these most typical mistakes! So of course you may use a computer but only as a dictionary, not as a translator. Минутки для шутки. Are you tired? Then some minutes for jokes.

Children, I hope that you love books and use them for reading but not for writing , that you read much and you know about Shakespeare and other famous writers almost everything. I hope that you pay attention not only to the titles of books but also to the names of authors. Are you good readers?( S 10 ) Let us see. Here`s a game to test your literary knowledge. Next to each author`s name write the name of his book. The pink letters make a message. (S 11 ) What message have you got? (S 12 ) “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body “. Let `s read and follow it.( S 14 ) Практика в чтении и решение логических задач. Children, you know that a good detective must be clever, have a good power of observation and of course he or she must be a logical person. Prove that you can be a very good detective. ( S 15-S 19 ) Now the last task for you. Two men have kidnapped the son of a millionaire. They are going to send him a letter, and they cut out these words out of a newspaper. Can you put the words in the correct order? ( S 20 ) Заключительный этап урока. I think it`s time to finish our lesson.
