Дата проведения: 23 апреля г. Прохладный, 2009 год Sport and healthy way of life 6 класс Цели: Обучающие: 1) отработка лексики по теме «Cпорт»; 2) совершенствование навыков аудирования; Развивающие: 1)развитие лингвистической догадки; 2)развитие творческого мышления; Воспитательные: 1) воспитание бережного отношения к своему здоровью; 2) привитие интереса к активному образу жизни; 3) воспитание уважения к партнерам по команде; 4) воспитание умения работать в группе. Подготовительная работа: Для проведения данного мероприятия подготовлен следующий наглядный и раздаточный материал: таблица для задания «Quiz»; карточки с перечисленными в них видами спорта для задания «Go or Play»; тексты заданий для аудирования; карточки с названиями видов спорта и с картинками, изображающими тот или иной вид спорта для задания «Understand me». Ход мероприятия Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! Good morning, our dear guests! You know that sport plays a great role in our life. That's why today we devote our lesson sport and active lifestyle. By the way, it's not an ordinary lesson! It's a combined lesson of English and physical education. Can't imagine? Well, today you'll see that nothing is impossible. As the theme of our class today is sport, we have two teams – the first team is called “The Bears”, and the second team is called “The Foxes”. 1. Задание «Quiz» Teacher: Our competition will consist of six parts. And the first part is a quiz. Please, look at the blackboard. Here you see the table of the quiz. It consists of four sectors. Each part has a number of questions. You choose the sector and answer a question. If you can't, the other team can answer it and get some points. In the “Sport” sector there are names of different kinds of sport. In the sector “Person” you should name a person doing this or that kind of sport. Sector “Place” contains a place where you can do a particular kind of sport. In the sector “Equipment” you should enumerate the equipment necessary for a certain sport. Is it clear? Let's begin then. 2. Задание «Go or play» Teacher: The next task of our competition is called “Go or play”. Each team gets a sheet of paper with the names of different kinds of sport. You should write them into two columns – those you play and those you do. You have three minutes to do this task. Список названий видов спорта: Football, basketball, cycling, swimming, diving, ice-hockey, skating, tennis, table tennis, skiing, horse-riding, golf. PLAY: Football, basketball, ice-hockey, tennis, table tennis, golf. GO: Cycling, swimming, diving, skating, skiing, horse-riding. Teacher: Well, time is up. So, please, put your sheets of paper on the blackboard to check. Учитель вместе с учениками проверяет правильность выполнения задания, подсчитывает количество баллов и записывает результат на доску. 3. Задание «Listening» Teacher: The next task is listening. During the listening you should do some tasks. The tasks are individual for each member of the team. В течение аудирования вам нужно будет выполнить особые задания, которые я раздам каждому члену команды. (Учитель раздает задания). You will hear a story about the differences in character between the British and the Americans. Find out about British and American attitudes to sport. You will hear the recording twice. SPORT When it comes to hobbies and pastimes, Americans prefer being active. And their favourite games are fast, aggressive ones such as basketball, American football and baseball. Above all, Americans love to win. If you aren't the first, you've lost. It's all about the aggression and getting out there and “kicking some ass”. And when they lose, they'll tell you that, “ you sack!”, and they'll promise to get their revenge next time. Americans need to be the guy on top, and don't take defeat lightly. The British attitude to sport is somewhat different. For a start, they prefer sports of a more gentle and relaxed nature, such as cricket, bowls and gnome tossing. For the British it is the taking part that's important, not winning(well, that's theory anyway). It's all about a fair play and acting like a gentleman on the sports field. If a Brit loses a game, he'll say something like this, “Good job there. The best man won”, even though it was a crushing defeat. However, this is all superficial and insincere, as deep down the British hate losing as much as anyone. They're just used to it, and very good at hiding it. Задания к аудированию:

British hate losing as much as anyone. (T) После того, как команды закончат, задания проверяются членами жюри и выставляются баллы. Teacher: And now, guys, let's have some rest. As you remember, our lesson is connected with sport and healthy way of life. Do you do anything to be healthy? P1: ... P2: … Teacher: And now our teacher of physical education Ivan Vladimirovich will show us how to be healthy and what you can do at school to stay active and full of energy. Let's say hello to him! Good morning, Ivan Vladimirovich! Учитель физической культуры И.В. Нелюбин показывает детям различные физкульт минутки. Затем физ минутка проводится на английском языке. 4. Задание «Find the words» Учащимся розданы 2 таблицы с зашифрованными словами на спортивную тему. Учащиеся в своих листочках должны найти как можно больше слов и обвести их в таблице, а затем вывесить на доску. Победит команда, которая найдет больше слов. T: Now you get tables with some words connected with sport. Find the words and mark them with your marker. A team which finds more words will win the point! Go! 5. Задание «Guess» На доске вывешены картинки с различными видами спорта, рядом с которыми — клеточки с зашифрованными словами. Дети должны угадать вид спорта и раньше другой команды записать его в клеточках на доске. T: And now we have some words to guess. I need the captains of the team. Go to the blackboard, please! You should guess the words and write them on the blackboard as soon as possible. A captain who does it the first, will get the point to his team. Let's start! 6. Задание «Understand me» У учителя на столе лежат карточки с названиями видов спорта. Каждый член команды подходит (по очереди из каждой команды), берет карточку и пытается объяснить своей команде этот вид спорта без слов, при помощи жестов и мимики. За правильно угаданные виды спорта команды получают очки. T: Attention, please! Now we have a very interesting competition - “Understand me”. You come to me in turn, take the sheet of paper with the name of the sport and try to show it to your team without the words, using only your mimics and gestures. If the team understands you and gives the right answer, you get a point. Is it clear? Let's start! Teacher: So, our very interesting lesson is coming to the end and we should count the score. Учитель вместе с учащимися подсчитывает результаты соревнования и объявляет победителя. Teacher: So, let's award our winners – the team ''…. ''. You are our best sportsmen and best linguists! (Вручение грамот и медалей) Dear children, dear guests! Our exciting show has come to an end. We hope that everybody leaves with a pleasant feeling of doing something important, because today we've done a wonderful thing – we devoted a lesson to sport, health and active way of life.
