Repeat after the teacher: It’s time to say ’’Hello’’ And start our lesson/ Good beginning makes a good ending! 2. ФОНЕТИЧЕСКАЯ ЗАРЯДКА. T: Listen and repeat the poem ‘’The key of the kingdom’’. This poem will help us to pronounce the English sounds and words better. Do you like it? Приложение 1. Презентация ‘’The key of the kingdom’’ This is the key of the kingdom, In that kingdom there is a city, In that city there is a town, In that town there is a street, In that street there is a lane, In that lane there is a yard, In that yard there is a house, In that house there is a room, In that room there is a bed, In that bed there is a basket, In that basket there are some flowers. Flowers in a basket, Basket in the bed, Bed in the room, Room in the house, House in the yard, Yard in the lane, Lane in the street, Street in the town, Town in the city, City in the kingdom. Приложение 2, слайд 3 T: Dear friends, say what ”home” is for you? Give a one sentence definition. P: Home is a place where we live. where we are happy. Приложение 2, слайд 4 T: Look at the screen. There are several proverbs about home. Let's translate them, read and learn. East or West home is best (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше). There is no place like home (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше). An Englishman's home is his castle (Мой дом - моя крепость). 4. ВВЕДЕНИЕ ЛЕКСИКИ. T: My friends, you have learnt a lot of English words .Look at the screen, read and and guess: Приложение 2, слайд 5 -11 T: Take your workbooks and be ready to write down new words. Look at the board. Types of houses in Great Britain: A detached house особняк, обособленно стоящий дом. A semi-detached house - дом, имеющий общую стену с соседним домом. A terraced house - дом ленточной застройки, стоящий в ряду одинаковых домов с общими стенами. Block of flats- многоквартирный дом. A castle- замок. A palace - дворец 5. ПЕРВИЧНОЕ ЗАКРЕПЛЕНИЕ ЛЕКСИЧЕСКОГО МАТЕРИАЛА. T: Now look at the board, there are the definitions of types of houses. Guess the type by the definition. Приложение 1, слайд 12- 14

АКТИВИЗАЦИЯ НАВЫКОВ АУДИРОВАНИЯ. T: Well done. It’s time to listen to the tape. But first let’s read the words on the board. You’ll need them to understand the tape. Приложение2, слайд 13 Word- list ( запись на доске): an area - район, область, зона; to introduce - представить to describe - описывать a residential area - район частных домов; neighborhood - соседство; restaurant - ресторан; souvenir shop -сувенирный магазин T: You will listen to the tape where the man will tell us about the place where he lives. Организация прослушивания диалога из упр. 44, с 136 . Учебники во время прослушивания должны быть закрыты. Задание для детей: прослушать диалог и ответить не вопрос “Where does the person live?”. С.: Could you please introduce yourself? Т.: My name is Mr Philpott. I'm a tourist from London. C.: Could you answer some of our questions, please? Т.: Yes, of course. What would you like to know? C.: What part of London do you live in? Т.: At the moment I live not far from the centre of London. I live in the area called Bloomsbury. C.: Do you like it there? Т.: Yes, I do. It's a very nice area. It's very close to a beautiful park - Regent's Park. C: Could you please describe your house? Т.: Well,...> T: It's time to answer the question. Where does the person live? P: He lives not far from the centre of London. He lives in the area called Bloomsbury. He lives near the Regent's Park. 7. Совершенствование навыков аудирования и чтения. T: Let's continue listening to the dialogue and compare your description with Mr Philpott's description. Учащиеся слушают вторую часть диалога, выполняют задание упр. 46 с. 136 и отвечают на вопросы учителя. Во время прослушивания учебники открыты. Т.: Well, we have a semi-detached house. It's quite a big house because I have a big family. We have three bedrooms, a sitting room where we watch TV in the evening, a kitchen and a bathroom. C.: Do you have a garden? Т.: We have a garden at the back and a very small garden at the front. C: What kind of neighbourhood is it? Т.: It's a residential area with lots of similar houses. As it is very close to the centre this area is popular with tourists. So there are quite a lot of hotels, some restaurants and souvenir shops. C: I would like to live in a place like that!> T: Answer my questions, please. - Does Mr Philpott live in a big house?

T: Look at the board, there are two words home and house. What is the difference between them? Read and translate the examples. T: Let's do the exercise. It's on the board. Fill in: home or house.

T: Today we speak a lot about different houses. And now look at this house. Show your attitude toward our house. If you like our lesson the house will be nice.
