Конспект мультимедиа урока английского языка, проведенного в 31 группе специальность 050709 «Преподавание в начальных классах» специализация «Учитель иностранного языка начальной школы» ГОУ СПО «Мишкинский профессионально-педагогический колледж»

Тема: Houses and Home

Тип урока: комбинированный

Задачи:

1. Образовательные:

- актуализировать знание лексики по теме «Мой дом»;

- познакомить с различными типами национальных домов в Америке и России

- Расширять кругозор студентов: познакомить с существующими традициями в домах России и Великобритании: духи-обереги дома – Домовой и Бруни.

2. Воспитывающие:

–учить студентов проявлять интерес к стране изучаемого языка;
–повышать мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;
–осуществлять эстетическое воспитание студентов;
–воспитывать любовь к родному дому, родным и близким людям;
– воспитывать толерантность и культуру поведения.

3. Развивающие:

-учить давать оценку, высказывать свое мнение на английском языке;

– активизировать внимание студентов на занятии, создавать благоприятный психологический климат;

–способствовать развитию творческой деятельности студентов;
–развивать аналитико-синтезирующее мышление;

– развивать умение сравнивать, обобщать, абстрагироваться.

4. Практические: совершенствовать:

- речевые навыки;

-навыки монологической речи;

-навыки аудирования;

-навыки работы с сетью Интернет: поисковой интернет- системой «Яндекс» и с интернет- энциклопедией «Wikipedia», а так же с онлайн- словарем «Аbbyy».
Оборудование: учебные компьютеры, С.И. Ожегов “Словарь русского языка. Русский язык”, сигнальные карточки «Fine», «OK», «So-So» (Приложение 1).

I. Warm-up
T.: Good morning, students!I’m glad to see you. Take your seats. Today we have a very unusual and interesting lesson.

T.: I see that you are ready for the lesson. I hope you will be attentive and active. And at the beginning of the lesson I want to know your mood. How are you? There are different cards on your desks. Look at the scheme on the board and show me your cards.

T.: I see. As for me I’m fine today! And how are you?

T.: We continue our lesson.

Who is on duty today?
Who is absent?
Why is he/she absent?
What date is it today?
What day of the week is it today?
What is the weather like today?

T.: Well thank’s!

II. Phonetic exercise

T.: Listen to the speaker and repeat the words all together.

III. Speech exercise
T.: Well look at the screen. You see the proverbs. Listen to the speaker attentively! And repeat the proverbs.

Proverbs:

Home, sweet home - Дом милый дом.

East or west, home is best. - В гостях хорошо а дома лучше.

My home is my castle. Мой дом- моя крепость.

T.: Try to give the Russian equivalents of these proverbs

IV. Topic and aim of the lesson

T.: And as you have guessed the topic of our lesson is Enjoy your house and home.

T.: At our lesson we’ll speak about the definitions of two main words “House”, “Home”, we’ll know more information about Russian and American houses, and we’ll learn the new information about interesting traditions in Russian homes and we’ll add the information about the house spirits in Russia and in Britain, such as Domovoy and Brownie.

T.: Now let’s start our work.

The meanings of the words

Разграничение понятий “house” и “home”.

T: I wonder, do these two words mean the same? Try to make a conclusion.

T.: Will you be so kind to read for us the definition of the word “дом” from Ozhegov’s vocabulary of the Russian Language. (С.И. Ожегов “Словарь русского языка. Москва “Русский язык”, 1988. стр. 141”)

Дом – жилое здание, а также люди, живущие в нем.
Квартира, а также семья, люди, живущие вместе, их хозяйство.
Учреждение, заведение, обслуживающие какие-нибудь общественные нужды.
Династия, род (устар).

OUR SPECIAL ROOM

The kitchen is the most important room in many houses. So it is in our house. It is not only where we cook and eat but it’s also the meeting place for family and friends. It is not very big. It is the warmest room in winter. You can always find something tasty there. It’s tidy. There are never dirty dishes in the sink. There are wonderful flowers on the window-sill. The blue curtains on the window make our kitchen very cosy. It is wonderful when we all sit round the table drinking tea and chatting about everything. We usually tell Mum our secrets and discuss our plans for the future in the kitchen. Whenever we have a party, our friends gravitate to the kitchen. It’s our special room.

T.: Let’s prove it. I think, you know that in every country homes have its traditions and its own spirit and a soul.

VII. Making the projects

T.: Now let’s be divided into two groups. Let’s create and show the small projects. The first group have to create the project under the topic: “ Homes in America and homes in Russia”. And the second group – the project under the topic: “Home spirits in Russia and in England”.

-But be attentive please! You have to get the information from the Internet.

Look at the screen. Use these links and find the necessary information and illustrations. You can use online-dictionary.

T.: Well. Thank you for your work students. Now we know the most interesting information about different traditions, homes and home spirits in different countries.
VII. Summarizing
T.: And now the main question of our lesson: What is the most important word for you? HOUSE or HOME and why?

T.: Look at the screen you can see the scheme. You can give the answer from the words:

T.: And now your hometask: You have to write a letter for Kuzya. Try to say him:

some information about your home and your house duties, about your family, especially about your parents, brothers and sisters and of course your own senses to your family.

T.: I want to say my last wishes for you: Don’t forget that your home is your castle. Take care of your parents and close people, love them always. I want to present you small symbols of happy home. I hope they’ll bring warm and peace into your homes. I wish you good luck, kindness happiness and only peace in your home.
